Latin music without question is one of my biggest influences, and a huge part of pop culture. Celia Cruz is the without question the queen of that movement. Growing up in a latin community it was normal to have music playing all the time. My parents where constantly dancing, moving and grooving. During parties the energy that latin music brought could be felt down the street, sometime all the way to the police station.
Im kidding of course, about the police not about the positive effects of a great latin tune. No matter where your from, your background, culture or region. Music like this is craved by the soul and addicting to the hips. Some music is made for calm reflection, some for easy listening, but this! This is to dance, to let loose.
